The local police has recovered body of a 22-year-old youth from a mobile shop located at Super Market near Bus stand here today. The youth, identified as Manish, was missing since last night and belonged to Jahangirpur village here.
The police has registered a case of murder against the deceased’s friend Rajesh of Kot village and two other youths in this regard on the complaint of the deceased’s brother Rakesh but the exact reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
Jhajjar SP Sourav Singh said the postmortem reports suggested that the youth had died of strangulation. “We are investigating the case from various angles as the preliminary inquiry indicates multiple reasons involved in the crime,” said the SP, adding that Rajesh had been arrested while hunt was on to nab two other accused as well.
Manish had made a call to his kin yesterday evening for informing that he is right now at the mobile shop in Jhajjar and would get late in coming to home. Thereafter neither Manish returned to home nor he made any contact with the kin, said Sourav Singh.
