Dhirender Ohliyan elected as chief

With a view to carrying out academic, sports and heath related activities for the welfare of working journalists of Rohtak district, a Media Club Rohtak has been formed by local journalists at a meeting held at Canal Rest House here on Tuesday.
Dhirender Ohliyan has unanimously been elected as president of the club while Om Prakash Vashishth will be served as vice president, Deepak Khokhar as general secretary, Harish Bhardwaj as secretary, Somdev Kasuhik as joint secretary, Vijay Ahlawat as cashier, Mahesh Chug as assistant cashier and Devender Dangi will fulfill the liabilities of Press Secretary.
Besides, Ravinder Saini, Lokesh Jain, Devender Sharma, Anil Sharma, Jitender Panchal, Krishan Hooda, Manmohan Kathuriya, Anuj Narwal will be the members of working committee of the club.
Press Secretary, Mr. Devender Dangi, said a three-member-screening committee had also been constituted for screening the membership applications for the club. Purushottam Sharma, Somnath Sharma and Shiv Sharma would be the members of the committee.
Newly appointed president Mr. Dhirender informed that Media Club Rohtak had duly been registered and tenure of the newly appointed office bearers would be of one year. Only those journalists would be given members of the club, who were in regular journalism.

Pradeep Balhara, Amarjeet Singh, Anil Chahal, Rajesh Bhad, Dr Jagmender, Surender Singh, Deepak Bhardwaj, Sanjay Kumar, Naveen Nain, Ajmer Tondon, Ravi Malik, Suresh Balhara, Sudarshan Bawa, Amit Bhardwaj, Sanjay Dangi were also present at the meeting.(Ends)
